An exquisite super- realistic life size sterling silver hand made statue of a petite bird circa 1960, Italy.Standing 2 3/8″ tall by 1 9/16″ wide foot to foot by 5 11/16″ from the beak to the tail (60mm x 40mm x 145mm) and about to burst into song this astonishing life like bird is entirely handmade in sterling silver. The expression of the bird, how it is poised and the texture of the superfine feathers is astonishing.
